PREVENTING SCARS

If your kids are anything like mine they bounce all over the place and pay little to no regard to what might happen. My oldest, my tomboy, always seems to be skinning something. Everything from road rash on her face to cutting her feet or hands. She is just into everything... all the time. She doesn't have any scars to show for her adventures.

The last case of road rash all around her left eye is what prompted me to try lanolin. I didn't have anything but lanolin based breast feeding cream. I figured if it could help breast feeding moms it should re-hydrate the damaged skin. I applied to the scab 3 times a day until healed. It worked like a charm.

Since then I have used it on various cuts, scrapes, and burns (I have a horrible habit of scraping my arm inside the hot oven). Everything I have used it on has worked!
